NAM Journal embraces these recent advancements by serving as a hub for dissemination and worldwide exchange of information regarding state-of-the-art NAM developments. NAM Journal welcomes original research papers, review papers, opinion papers and meeting reports dealing with NAM production and their use in human toxicology, ecotoxicology, chemical risk assessment and biomedical research, amongst other fields.

In addition to hypothesis-driven studies on mechanisms of mammalian toxicity, Toxicology Letters welcomes seminal work in the following areas: In silico toxicology, Toxicokinetics, Physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling, Systems toxicology, Predictive toxicology, 3R research in toxicology, New approach methodology (NAMs), Adverse outcome pathways (AOPs), Integrated testing strategies.

Main topics covered include, with most of possible aspects and domains of application: Fermentation, biochemical and bioreactor engineering, Biotechnology processes and their life science aspects, Biocatalysis, enzyme engineering and biotransformation, Downstream processing, Modeling, optimization and control techniques.  Particular aspects related to the processes, raw materials and products, also include:  Chiral compounds production, cell free protein system, high-throughput screening, in-vivo/in-vitro evolution, enzyme immobilization, enzyme reaction in non-aqueous media.

The journal publishes original, peer-reviewed Research Reports of experimental, clinical, and epidemiological studies that address the neurotoxicity and/or functional teratology of pesticides, solvents, heavy metals, nanomaterials, organometals, industrial compounds, mixtures, drugs of abuse, pharmaceuticals, animal and plant toxins, atmospheric reaction products, and physical agents such as radiation and noise.

Micro and Nano Engineering (MNE) is an open access, multidisciplinary journal which crosses boundaries from nano to micro to bio, and from science to technologies. The journal focuses on micro-/nano engineering, fabrication and integration of functional nanostructures and surfaces towards intelligent nanomanufacturing; devices and bio-microsystems for medicine, life sciences, chemistry, environmental sciences, and agrofood; and devices and microsystems for physical applications.

The Journal of Biotechnology (J. Biotech.) offers publication for both full-length articles and short communications on a wide range of biotechnology-related topics. Also, review articles can be submitted if they are pre-approved by one of the editors. The journal will only accept submissions with novel scientific research results that are directly relevant to biotechnological systems and/or applications (for details, please see the list below). J. Biotech. has strict rules about plagiarism. Any submission that includes parts of already published material will be rejected.
